He prescribed me a medication directly without examining the problem area.
On the other hand, it made me feel uncomfortable because he was rushing me. I can even understand that he is not punctual and having to wait in the room, but in the consultation it does not seem normal to me to rush like that, also taking into account that it is private, it is not free, nor is it social security... and it's not the first time. I don't know if I'll be back but I don't feel like going here anymore.
It was probably one of my strangest experiences with a doctor's appointment. One expects that a dermatologist will at least look at your skin, examine the basics and then prescribe something or make some recommendation, beyond checking that everything is fine.
Well, I stayed in the room for exactly 4 minutes. He didn't come close at any time, he didn't look at the skin on my face or body. He showed very little interest in everything I talked about and I left there without having any maintenance/health consultation, without knowing if any mole had grown, without knowing if I had to do any exam to check for possibilities of illness, nothing...
Totally wasted time and paid medical insurance to receive nothing in return. A shame
I can only define it as follows: "Professionalism and human quality in the deal".
After many years with a wrong diagnosis, Dr. Martínez has found the correct one. It is hard to receive a diagnosis of this type, but the way in which he was treated, at the time and with the closeness that he did, has made everything much more bearable. Thank you very much, we will continue to see each other.
After a year with an appointment scheduled, I postponed the appointment to undergo treatment because it was not compatible with pregnancy. When I arrived at the consultation to finally have the intervention, they told me that they no longer worked with my insurance. They did not notify me of this in advance so I made the trip in vain. A detail that I consider very ugly. I will try another dermatologist. The insurance is Asisa. Keep this in mind if you have this insurance because it is possible that they will not call you to notify you and you will find out in the consultation itself.
I was in the consultation last May, he seemed to me a great professional as well as very close.
He checked my skin spots and burned some, they have turned out very well.
