The gyro may not have been prepared in the traditional vertical rotisserie style, but the meat was flavorful and satisfying. The tzatziki sauce added a perfect touch of tanginess. The skewered meat was tender and delicious. Overall, while not the most authentic Greek experience, the food was of good quality and quite enjoyable.
Wow, could it be at least 20 years since we've eaten here since we moved. Loved the bright updated space but the food continues the tradition of being awesome. What's not to love and even though we couldn't finish the giant portions we still squeezed in some yummy baklava. 😋 Demos has got to be on your list if you love real Greek!
Don't eat food from this place! I got food poisoning! I ate a falafel gyro and the spanakopita and spent the night excreting everything out of both ends of my body. I'm still in pain and can only tolerate water. I'm just glad I was able to keep my medicine down. I have epilepsy. These people aren't following food safety protocols.
We just ordered here for the first time and we are immensely disappointed considering the good reviews. We both ordered Lamb Kebab Gyros which we erroneously thought came with a side of fries, but it's actually fries inside. Disappointing considering the price, but our fault not theirs. Second, we were both near positive that we were given beef instead of lamb and when I called and asked if they were positive it was lamb, they insisted it was. If it was, this was easily the worst lamb I've had at a Greek restaurant, so I hope it was actually beef for their sakes. The fries and tzatziki were similarly disappointing with the fries being soggy and underseasoned and the tzatziki being weirdly sweet. On the bright side, the other ingredients like the pita, tomatoes, and feta tasted very fresh so it wasn't a complete loss, but $30 for that quality and quantity of food is quite bad.
Great Greek food! Everything made to order. Everything was fresh. The beef and lamb kabobs were tender and cooked perfectly. The salads were generous and the house dressing was a nice surprise. So good!! The waitstaff was so friendly and the owner came out and chatted with not just our table, but everyone else. Great bar with a good collection of European beers. A great place for lunch or hearty dinner that won't brake your budget. If you are in Watertown, give Them a try.
