Flathead Glass Works

The owner was awful on the phone and then again in person. I didn't want to give him my business but he was the only person that could do my rock chip I got this morning and didn't want the freezing temps to make it worse. The employee that did my windshield repair was kind and quick and I feel badly he has to work under a boss like that. I even told him so. I wish I would've gotten his phone number and would hire him for a better wage and certainly treated better. The only reason this company must be in business still is because of their kind hard working employee and the influx of work. Absolutely blown away by the way this person is running his business. (Small business owner myself) Plus was they were fast and cheap and got me in same day and the employee was great. Down side the owner is an absolute jerk.

Very unimpressed. My windshield was redone twice and was badly sealed both times. Wind was howling through the cracks when I would drive. After the second attempt at repair I went to the Glass Doctor instead . The Glass Doctor fixed it perfectly within 45 min. The owner of Flathead Glass Works refused to reimburse me the total cost of the windshield they never actually repaired. I will never go here again.

I highly recommend this business. We were traveling through and only in the area for a few days when a rock flew into our windshield and cracked it and it had to be replaced. We called around and no one else would either answer our call or gave us appointments a month out. This place immediately got us a windshield ordered over a holiday weekend and within just a few days had it delivered and installed so we could get back on the road. We are so thankful for Mike and his team!!!

All these 1 star reviews are delirious! These guys are awesome. I called on a Monday for a windshield replacement, they were able to get me in by Wednesday. Best price I could find around. Drove from Whitefish, so I brought my dirtbike to ride around while I waited. They were kind enough to help me unload it and insisted on loading it as well. They are threw out some trash that I had apologized for earlier. They rock! The windshield looks great they didn’t waste any time getting to work on it either!

had windshield replaced here about 2 years ago. when I needed another windshield in the same car I tried another local company. The tech there found that the first windshield had been improperly installed and that a sharp tool (box cutter?) had been used to remove the rubber seal and had cut deep into the paint causing rust. This will be a problem in the future. Will never go back to Glass works again!
