Awesome food and service!!! If you look for real good Mediterranean food in Whole Des Moines, this is your place. The owner, MJ, is fantastic. He knows how to treat his customers, and he knows how to make awesome food. Don't FORGET to try their real Arabic coffee with Baklava.

Loved everything about this place. The flavors were superb and the food very fresh. The service was efficient, friendly and overall excellent. They also were very accommodating of our young children. We loved the classic music and ambience. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at the restaurant last night. The food was exceptionally delicious - a must-try for American diners. The unforgettable flavors are sure to be a hit. Additionally, the service was outstandingly impressive. Highly recommended!

Just had the best lunch I have had in a long time. I thought this was a new restaurant but found out they just moved and but been established for 18 years in Des Moines. The humus was probably the best humus I’ve had in Des Moines. We stopped in just after the lunch rush so we received a little extra attention with it being a little slower which was nice. Karren (I believe her name was) shared with us how they prepare their food which was a nice touch. Very friendly. I’m super excited to have found this restaurant that is close to my office. It’s a small, contemporary feel and the food is great quality. Not that frozen processed stuff you can find dinning out. I’d recommend starting with hummus and ending with the baklava with Turkish coffee. We had the jalapeño chicken wrap and the garlic chicken wrap. Both extremely flavorful. Chicken was very tender. I’d also recommend asking for a side of the hot “sauce”. Went great with the humus and I added a little to my wrap too. I’ll definitely be back.
