Mastery Martial Arts Johnston

My daughter has been attending Mastery (first in Cranston then Johnston) with Mr. Russo since she was 4, after hearing the kids in the Little Dragons class practicing their forms from across the street. She peeked in that first day, and she was hooked from there. Mr. Russo has become much like an Uncle to her and the rest of the staff is also much like family as well. The respect taught there reminds me of when/how I grew up, and that sadly is missing today in general. And underlying all the lessons, is an emphasis on fun, and progress no matter where you’re at in your martial arts journey. Lily has literally grown up with Mr. Russo as a rock in the foundation of her developing character and I’m so glad she made the move to go check out this school, it’s one of the best decisions we’ve made for her as a family. She is now, at 12 y/o, an apprentice black belt, and I hope she continues her journey with Mr. Russo and Mastery far into her teen years, so it can continue to remain part of the bedrock of her personality and growth through her life. Thank you Mr. Russo and all that have helped her along the way at Mastery. 🙏🏼❤️🥋

Amazing!!!!! I can't believe the growth I have seen in my daughter in just a short time. The instructors are amazing and are a great support system for their students. Mastery is worth every penny and minute! It is a great environment and you feel like family. The instructors truly care about each student. The Leadership classes and the skills taught to the students is life changing. It's not just martial arts, it's learning how to navigate through life and the situations we often find ourselves in. I 1000% reccomend Mastery to everyone

Mastery Martial Arts Johnston is amazing!! My daughter, Eliana has been at Mastery for the past 8 months and the progress she has made is unbelievable. Her self-confidence has improved tremendously. Eliana loves Mr.Russo and the other instructors and looks forward to her classes each week! The Mastery program is so much more than just martial arts, the life skills they teach are so important. Watching the motivation and determination from all students each class is amazing. Signing Eliana up for Mastery is one of the best decisions I've made as a parent. I look forward to watching her journey towards earning her black belt!!

My son is 5 yrs old, very shy, everything is "boring" to him and "takes too long", he has constant meltdowns interacting with strangers or beong in the spotlight, needless to say he didn't want to go to his info session at Mastery Martial Arts. In addition, my husband and I were weary of the price $200-$250 per month especially for something our son would give us a hard time going to or participating in. Well, we were shocked and signed right up at the end of our info session! The program director got our son to participate, follow the rules, follow directions and most of all, have fun ! So much so that my son asked if he could go back the next day! The patience Mr.Z had with my son was amazing! I couldn't say more positive things ... I'll be back with an updated review after a couple of classes!!

The structure and confidence Mastery has brought to Colin’s life along with a “Yes I can” attitude has absolutely shaped him into the young man he is. I would like to thank each and every instructor for contributing to my child’s excellence.
