Rude staff! I don’t expect much at a UPS store but the bare minimum of customer service would be nice. The girl who was helping with returns in the line had a rude tone with customers and when it was my turn to drop off a shipment, the male clerk did not say one word to me the entire time. Not a simple hello or thank you after I did both of those things as common courtesy. Really sad that a company doesn’t instill the importance of simple customer service to their employees.
Hated my experience there, very rude staff, never associating myself with ups ever again, some girl (didn’t get her name) was very rude and disrespectful, someone needs to teach her some manners and talk about her behavior. She has brown hair half up and down and she had diamond earrings. I don’t think you can miss her. Very disappointed and frustrated with today’s visit, never had an experience like this going into a ups store, usually it’s nice people who work there, not entitled and rude staff who doesn’t want to help their customers and lets their work frustrations get into the way of treating customers nicely :) I have no idea why this specific store has good reviews. Even the lady in the back with red hair saw how busy the store was and did not bother to help at all, she was on her phone the entire time talking to the sole two employees whenever they got a chance.
There was a line of about 20+ customers waiting in line when I went. There were 3 workers and 1 supervisor in the UPS store, but only 2 were assisting customers. The 3rd worker was busy filling paperwork then went home. She never once bothered to help any customers nor help anyone. One of the 2 workers helping customers was busy taking calls instead of helping customers. The supervisor was in the back office and would only come out when asked a question by her workers. She saw how many customers were waiting in line and never once offered to help the customers nor do anything other than hide out back. The 3rd worker was busy helping 1customer most of the time I waited in line instead of rushing and helping others waiting. I waited almost an hour to have my package shipped. This is unacceptable!
The past staff was fantastic. Now the new employees and manager are horrible. Packages are not scanned, packages are put in other peoples p.o boxes, staff has constant excuses for not doing this or that. Not to mention lost packages! I have been here for years and I think now it is time for me to move my business somewhere else. Train the staff better or get a better manager. What happened to the old staff?? I never had an issue till recently.
The UPS Store, #4781 in La Quinta, staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Waiting for the notary, Issac, I watched customers served politely and with care. Issac was busy that day. He explained everything needed to complete my notary, made a copy for me and mailed it. Great staff! I highly recommend this store
