The UPS Store

I frequent this store often. They hire hardworking, diverse staff who are generally pleasant and helpful. There are long lines during holidays and lunch hours but the line usually moves quickly. I prefer this store over the Post Office. Finding parking can be tricky, though!

I honestly feel like the UPS corporation should take a serious look at this franchised store under their name. I rarely have a pleasant experience in this business, and have decided after this most recent one that I will likely no longer patron their store. Their employees are typically super short with customers, rude, and have a serious lack in professionalism both in appearance and attitude. Most recently, one woman was being NASTY rude with her coworkers, one of which engaged in an awkward confrontation in front of a full store at Xmas time. A man at the counter was loudly talking smack about UPS and their new union contract obviously unaware that “some people around him” have loved ones actively working for said company. Sorry but I’ll be shipping from elsewhere going forward.

Very helpful and friendly every time. Always efficient and everything goes smoothly. I’ve been there for passport photos, fingerprinting, and shipping, and the service is consistently great. Shout out to the new guy and the girl with the heart lenses that helped me today! She was so knowledgeable and I really appreciate her determination in solving my problem. Trying to get my package sent at the post office had been so stressful and these two really helped me out. You rock!

This is for ups in general. It's not just here. I moved here from Southeast New Mexico last fall, & from my experience, ups is terrible all over! Packages marked fragile looked like someone played soccer with it, and that's if you're lucky enough to receive it. Sometimes neighbors would bring me the stuff that was delivered wrong, sometimes not. Plus, they make it so difficult to collect from their insurance, it's sometimes not worth the hassle! Probably something they count on. I've got a tractor down, waiting for a shop manual. Had to re-order. Was delivered to a neighbor who never would return an item! My address is clearly posted at the street twice! So it cost me double until the insurance claim goes through...or not. Why should i have to go through this headache! Shouldnt it fall on the shoulders if the dip-dong who delivered it wrong? The postmaster told me that the first insurance claim is almost always denied. They're hoping you give up. Their work ethic is, well, non existent these days. I shipped my granddaughters purse to Texas a month ago, and still hasn't arrived! She was heartbroken from leaving it here. She's 7. If I acted like this on ANY of the jobs lve had in my lifetime, I would have been warned, then fired the second time! Most of their delivery people are awesome! But there are a few scattered everywhere, that just can't grasp the concept that these deliveries are sometimes extremely important to people! It's hard to find decent workers these days, I understand...but having one person like this, brings so many others down, having to try & correct his mistakes! If that person had to retrieve the package himself, preferably on his own time, and had to pay, out of his own paycheck, items that he couldn't retrieve... Well, by golly, would ya look at that! All of the sudden, he does a great job!

Very busy when I was there, lots of more labor intensive packages being sent, so the line went pretty slow. But the customer service I had was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Store was clean, a nice variety of services. One of the mail box customers had a package delivery notice and did not have to wait in the long line, a nice personal touch. Parking can be a bit tight and crowded, but the location is convenient. There are a variety of businesses in their strip mall, and surrounding area. Nice commercial area of town.
