School of Rock

Hands down the best investment and experience ever! My son did a summer camp and fell in love with everything about school of rock. He’s grown so much musically and picks up new material quick because of the amazing instructors they have on staff.
He enjoyed it so much that I signed up to take classes myself. Highly recommend for anyone looking to start or enhance their musical journey.

Excellent music school and our son loves it. Kids can learn to play multiple instruments, sing, and have fun. The teaching style and playing actual gigs as a band is what's best about this place vs other music schools. I wish School of Rock existed when I was a kid and tried to learn guitar. Maybe I wouldn't have dropped out (multiple times) then 😋

We have been with SOR Pearland since they opened and have had nothing but great experiences and memories! The instructors are all amazing and really care about the kids. The atmosphere is a fun family as well as professional. My son absolutely loves it. Great crew there!

Our son was the very first student to sign up at this location and it has been an absolutely amazing thing for us as an entire family. We love going to their shows and watching our dude develop his skills. The owners and staff are top notch and really great with the kids. You won't be disappointed!

Our son (10) has weekly electric guitar lessons at School of Rock Pearland. He enjoys the lessons and always has great things to say about his instructors. The atmosphere is great for him as it has boosted his confidence and opened up his world to music.

Target

It's okay, but they didn't have much in the line of Halloween decorations or other things that we were looking for. Unless I shop their sales, they're a little more expensive. One last note, I don't agree with one of their commercials. I will shop anywhere that has good products or servings (restaurants) for the price and good customer service. If a place has those three things, it makes no difference to me who owns it! I like to support mom & and pop and locally owned businesses!

Always a great experience! Employees have been wonderful and store is usually well stocked.

My husband and I did overhear a manager bad mouthing another employee to someone that she was training, that wasn’t very cool of her. Besides that it’s always been great!

Target is one of those hit or miss kinda stores but for me mostly miss. They never have clothing that fit and for some reason all of their merchandise is way over priced.

Fortunately for Target Google will not allow for a half of a star rating 😳😳😳

I love the drive up experience we just park they bring out your item and you go. It was quick and easy.

They have great employees, and the stock is full and orderly. I will be back and I also recommend this place to my friends and family.  I will be back.

Ace Hardware

I LOVE Ace Hardware. One of the last businesses that still runs like an “old school” small town hardware store. There’s always someone there to answer questions and help you find things and the ACTUALLY know what they’re doing. I don’t care if it’s a little more than Amazon. It’s worth being able to get what you need right away and have a seasoned employee to help you pick the right thing.

Frustrating. I have tried to use this location  many times over the last year for common parts. A good 95% of the time, the item was sold out and they might get more in about 2 weeks. The staff is nice and tries to help. They keep low stock of products. Would not recommend.

I had never been in before. After wasting my time for 20 mins at sportsman's warehouse, the gentleman here helped me find what I needed and I was out the store in less than 3 minutes. (There was also someone else helping customers in the back too) so cool!

There are a lot of positive things about Ace hardware. The very best thing is that a customer service person is easy to find and they always know what aisle to turn you to to get what you need. Second it’s not humongous and they generally have what you need. Third it’s quick and easy. Fourth they have a great selection of Traeger stuff and Also weber grill stuff.  Ace is the place.

I was greeted when I walked in the door. A nice gentleman asked if I needed help, I told him what I needed and he knew exactly where the item was. Very nice  and helpful employees. Will definitely go back there.

Dillard's

I had an outstanding shopping experience at Dillard’s in the Idaho Falls Grand Teton Mall, all thanks to Cameron’s exceptional customer service skills and in-depth knowledge of the products. Today, my primary interest was in exploring their range of men’s scents and colognes, and Cameron went above and beyond to assist me.

Cameron’s expertise in the fragrances department was truly impressive. He guided me through various options, provided item sampling, and shared valuable insights about each product. I was delighted to discover that Dillard’s had recently introduced a new line of products from some of my favorite suppliers, and Cameron was quick to inform me about these exciting additions.

In summary, I want to express my gratitude to Cameron for his outstanding assistance and to Dillard’s for maintaining such a top-notch shopping environment. Thanks to Cameron’s expertise and Dillard’s excellent selection, I left the store with confidence in my purchases. It’s experiences like these that keep me coming back to Dillard’s. I love this store. Department stores may be going out of style, but this one has kept that lively, timeless feel. it's well lit and fully stocked, and the employees were very nice. I loved the Christmas displays too!

On Friday night, while shopping with my daughter in the junior's department for a dress we witnessed a female employee with dark black hair (I believe her name was "Cat") get right up in a young lady's face and started verbally harassing and yelling at her. The young blonde lady started crying and another associate tried to calm down the situation. However, the employee with the dark hair continued to yell at the other associate. It was a really disturbing scene and if this is how Dillard's associates treat one another then I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Rigby Ace Hardware

Please read the reviews carefully.  This store recently changed ownership, moving from Scotty's True Value to Ace Hardware.  The good reviews are referencing Scotty's, the bad reviews are referencing the new Ace.
I will follow suit by saying, when this store was Scotty's, every single person working there was happy to be there (seemingly), friendly and knowledgeable.  You could walk up to any random employee and ask for a gallon of paint in a specific color and sheen and if they couldn't mix it themselves they would get someone who could.  They really went all out to satisfy.
And then Ace came along.
Generally speaking, I like Ace stores.  But this store in Rigby is horrible.  Since they became Ace, I have been in 3 times.  On one visit, it seemed there was 1 person at the checkout and 1 person manning the auto parts area.  The other employees were all standing around a new baby that someone had brought in, basically ignoring all the customers.
All 3 times, the cashier has been incredibly rude and condescending.  This most recent time, I needed a handful of bolts, nuts and washers, about 8 each of 3 different sizes.  It took me 45 minutes to find what I needed.  They have bags that you can put your small quantities in, but there are no pens to write down skew numbers or anything, so I took photos of the barcodes, items numbers and price and went to the register.
The woman at the register was really put out.  I was ready to tell her exactly what I had, but she insisted on dumping everything out of the tag, individually counting, and then trying to guess in her computer how much to charge me.  I told her several times I had photos so she didn't have to do that, but she ignored me entirely.  The tipping point on this trip was her telling me that this would have been easier if I had written the prices on the bag, immediately followed by her trying to tell me that one particular bolt was sold by the pound and she had to weigh it!  Nothing I had was sold by the pound, and I had individual skews for each item.
I always prefer to shop local, but this place is a dumpster fire.  Couple the service frustrations with the fact that they are doing a major remodel while staying open, and the issue is compounded that much more.
I won't be back, and I will tell everyone I know not to go to this location.  I much prefer driving 15 more miles into Idaho Falls to go to Lowe's or another local hardware store there.

Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. employee questioned me as to why I was looking for rivets in the hardware section. “Rivets are tools”, Then guided me to the drill bits. Pointed at a drill bit and said “here you go”.Then proceed to down talk me for not understanding the new store layout. Save your self the pain and drive to Rexburgs ace hardware. Where the rivets are between the tools and hardware

This is such a well-maintained store and the staff are usually pretty helpful. We've been going to this store for years and seen it go through a lot of changes.

Prices seem a bit higher than others in the region.   About half the staff seemed friendly and helpful, the rest didn't seem to want to do anything more than they had to and were far from friendly or helpful.

Placed order for mower that was IN STOCK at this location. Turns out they never had it. Canceled my order without even contacting me. Would of been ok waiting!

Batteries Plus

My youngest daughter was a real clutz, they've replaced at least 5 iPhone screens for me over the years. One was so damaged they had to install a software package to replace the home screen button. 🤣
Also had an excellent warranty on led lights which they exchanged for me several times. Always great customer service.

Took my Note 20 Ultra in to replace a cracked screen. Got there at 9 and he took my phone back right away. The site said my phone could be done in an hour. However, I was informed that he was the only one there until 11, so it may take a little time to get it done. Completely understandable! I went and took care of some things and returned around 3, and he was finishing up. The phone works great and looks great! Will definitely be back in the future!

Ran in this morning to get my watch battery replaced and had the best service!  De'Avontae was the technician who assisted me. He was fast, efficient and friendly. SUPER pleased!!!!!!

Went in today to clean junk out of my charging port. They charge me 20 dollars. Where other places does it for free . I will be going to other places next time . Just this time , time wasn’t on my side and this place was open . Some basic services are free at other places .

Update :  20 dollars repair 21 to be exact did nothing to fix the problem. Wasted 21 dollars with taxes .  Certainly won’t be back .

This is definitely a 5 star if you are greeted and treated by BRANDY In the last 5yrs I've visited this store with repeated episodes of bad service.  Today...my Sister insisted using this store and finally we hit gold.  Thanks Brandy!

Paul Davis Restoration of Idaho

Paul Davis took good care of us when we had a massive leak from one tub upstairs into the tub downstairs. Mike Davis  was super friendly, helpful and very attentive throughout the whole process. Gavin with the demo and clean up crew did a great job keeping me in the loop while things were happening. He worked hard and quickly. They contracted with Phoenix Drywall and we are so pleased with their work. I would highly recommend PaulDavis and Phoenix Drywall.

The team from Paul Davis mitigation were very professional, thorough and considerate during the entire mitigation process. They responded quickly and effectively.

When our newly finished basement flooded Paul Davis was our first call. Blake was extremely professional and assured us that they could do the job. They showed up within an hour with all the equipment needed to thoroughly dry out our basement and keep the water from damaging all the new materials. The quality of their work is top notch! I would recommend Paul Davis for anyone who is looking for a seamless experience during a difficult situation!

In our current environment of it being difficult to find a contractor to take on a repair jobs, we were very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism demonstrated by Paul Davis.
We were extremely impressed with Mike Davis and how he organized our project and kept all of the contractors on a schedule. He is great at what he does. Not sure what they are paying him bit he deserves a raise.

Paul Davis was so incredible to work with. As soon as we called, their team sprang into action with same-day service. They have been so speedy, courteous, profession and always responsive. I don't know how they hire such great people, but they are top-notch professionals. They will forever be our go-to team when disaster strikes!

The Home Depot

My mom bought a new refrigerator, and it was delivered so damaged, with a ripped up cord and bent metal frame, that they couldn’t level it and we were scared of an electrical fire. They it away, and I t took almost two weeks for the replacement to arrive. The same delivery guys took it out of the box in the driveway, carried it into the house and gouged it on the door latch on the way in. The stainless steel refrigerator has a HUGE deep scratch all down the center of both doors now. My mom had to live out of coolers and buy ice for almost two weeks… she wasn’t going to do that again. Home Depot offered a small discount of this second refrigerator. I am disgusted. This is a woman who survived cancer, who has been kind and gracious, who accepted living out of cooler… Home Depot delivers two severely damaged refrigerators and left her without one for nearly two weeks, and they offered her $200?! Shame on them. Never buying anything from Home Depot again. It was terrible customer service.. once we got through the hour long wait to call, we would get transferred multiple times and no one we talked to seemed to have ever been trained. My mom should have been given this refrigerator for free. All of the stress and inconvenience, and the terrible quality of service and the audacity to deliver TWO severely damaged refrigerators over two weeks. Horrible store, horrible company, horrible service.

They have the products I need most of the time. I have had good and bad experiences with order pick up from the store. I don’t know if it’s company wide or just this location. Every time I have been in the store I have found it hard to find any employees to help me out. This isn’t uncommon for big corporate box stores, including a lack of employee knowledge in their department. I would still choose Home Depot over Lowe’s but this store is meh and the company in general is meh.

We've been there a lot and spent a few hundred dollars. Most of the time, it is good, but occasionally, their customer service stinks.
For example, the last time we saw over twenty employees, many huddled together and talked, but they did not ask us if they could help us.
They'd look and turn away. Sorry, but that's poor training and expectations from management.

Austin in appliances was a rockstar when we came in Saturday. Despite a ton of people he got us in and out quickly and really knew his stuff. I was about to be frustrated when he swooped in - explained everything, scheduled our deliveries and did it all in a friendly professional way. Thanks mate! Great experience and great prices.

If you know what and where the items are, it's an okay store. However, if you need assistance, the employees act like they are in training for a 5k race as they hurry to be some place else. I also hate the self checkout only system. Sometimes, you do get assistance at the checkout, but I think that is a loss prevention act of assistance.

Always a great experience at this target. I have only had good experiences here. Beware though, it is very difficult not to be hypnotized from the moment you walk in... Or maybe it was my wallet that was under some kind of spell. I'm not sure. Dang it target, you've made me spend 50 more dollars than I wanted to.. again...

Purchased radio flyer convertible stroll n wagon with canopy online for pickup. When we arrived we did some shopping and then went to pick this up. When they brought the box out it was heavily damaged and torn. I opened it right there at the pick up counter and it of course had damage. Target apparently does not do in store exchanges. The only way I could get another one while in the store was a gift card. So I bought another one and it was 20 dollars more expensive because it wasn’t purchased online. Customer service should have started with them not pulling this item in its condition or allowing it to be checked out to me. Prices are already higher here than at Walmart so I guess that was my last buy from Target.

This place is always clean. I do not go very often, because I am not a fan of the selection or prices. I do a lot of my shopping online as well. The store is a good store though

Our Madison store has great managers and staff. I can always find what I’m looking for.

School of Rock offers great programs all around..... from instructors, to material, and student encouragement.  I've seen my sons skills development through the years and WOW....I'm impressed!  The programs are a great activity and I highly recommend School of Rock to students of all ages.

The approach to learning by diving into songs is great.  Great instructors who really know the tricks to help you where you might be struggling.  Fun community to be a part of.
Can’t say enough about how invaluable it is that they set you up in bands with your peers.  Unique opportunities to learn the aspects related to being in a band and playing with others.  That plus the quarterly performances really keep you committed.

Mr. Brian is amazing teacher. He had taught my daughter so much in such a short time and she loves going. When they do the band for the season shows she really enjoys that to and it's amazing to see how these kids progress through these teachers. The staff there is amazing to willing to help and answer any questions you have. Couldn't have picked a better place to send my daughter.

My kids have been attending for years and love it! The concerts are super fun for the whole family.

I've taken classes as an adult here and it was good. Based on that I decided to put my kids in rock camp.  They originally moaned and groaned thinking it would be boring or too hard.  By the end of the week they were having a blast and played six songs on stage with a full band.  They are simplified versions but still very impressive for them to learn notes, simple chords, and timing to play together.  The teachers were patient and awesome with the kids to make them be successful.   Both asked to go back and we plan to.  My son is ready to buy a bass guitar now and had no interest before -  so it was a success.  My daughter reinforced her desire to play guitar and keyboards.

And most importantly now we can listen to some 90s alt rock and they jam out to it too!
