Main Mobility

Jason from Main Mobility was very prompt once the VA Hospital contacted them that I was stranded out in the community because my mobile scooter just stopped working.  It was a hot day and they even brought me a cold bottle of water.  Sadly it was not a quick fix and had to be taken into their shop.  So they dropped me off at home. Thanks to Kevin and the whole Main Mobility crew, they are always so great!

Update:. Just a week later I got my scooter back from the great guys at Main Mobility.  Kevin worked closely with me and the Veterans Administration to get through the hoops Uncle Sam requires.  I would have gotten my scooter back even sooner except for needing to follow VA protocol.
Main Mobility always kind, considerate, prompt, and understanding of the needs of their customers.
Like I said before a great company and a great all around crew.

Mike from main mobility came and installed back ordered parts for my unreliable zero turn 10 mobile scooter.  This model has been the most unreliable mobile scooter I have ever had.  The staff from Main mobility have done a fine job in trying to keep me mobile.  Luckily the VA has now gotten me a more reliable scooter to replace the one I've had so much trouble with.  Kudos to Kevin, Mark, Mike, and the other employees at Maine Mobility go being so prompt, and easy to work with in difficult times.  I'm happy to have them as my mobility service providers through the VA!!!

Went there to have lift installed. Tricky place to find, just needed to go 2 more blocks South. Waited for install in a nice warm waiting room. Got in and out, in a very reasonable time. Everyone was very courteous. If you need their services, use them.

Our Dad has stage four terminal cancer and therefore is bed/wheelchair bound. We needed their assistance via the VA to get a ramp installed immediately in case of an emergency. They were great about communicating any possible delays and once they arrived they had a great system going to get it installed in a very short time. Mark and Jason were very courteous and made sure to include and thank Dad for his service. The real blessing in disguise was that his son who is in a wheelchair due to muscular dystrophy hasn't been able to visit since he became housebound so their reunion was beyond words. Thank you for what you do to bring families together. What a blessing!

I help my neighbor who is a retired veteran out from time to time and he needed help with his power chair and the lift for his truck. His power chair  wasn't working and the lift on his truck was not attached well. Kevin had a very fast response time when we called him. He was also very friendly and professional. I would trust him to do anything we need in the future.

We needed to get a specialty ramp quickly to help protect my mother- in- law from falling.  We wanted good quality but we didn't think we could get what we wanted in time   I contacted Main Mobility and Kevin was able to provide what we needed on an incredibly tight schedule for a reasonable price.   He was very helpful,  professional, and resourceful. As we consider other mobility needs,  Kevin will be our first contact.

Shotwell Glass LLC

Major shout out to Shotwell Glass here in Blair! They came highly recommended by many of you here as we wanted to use someone local and close to the hometown. Our van took a baseball to the windshield over the weekend at a game in Omaha. Sunday evening at almost 8pm, Abby Whitney went over the top by going into the office (on a holiday weekend), to get a quote done for us. She got the glass ordered and got us on the books for replacement asap for the time that worked for us during our crazy busy schedule (7 kids, all 13 and under). Honestly, the price was amazing, the service was amazing, and I’ll forever be going there for every glass need in the future and will highly recommend them for anyone that ever asks for somewhere to go for help with glass. Thank you Shotwell Glass for phenomenal service!

Shotwell Glass is the best! I called to set up a time to get a rock chip repaired on my car. Annie was at my work within 10 minutes to pick it up, and it was back in less than an hour. This is the second time my family has used them for windshield repair, and we will never go anywhere else.

Broke my grandma's curved glass China cabinet door, and found out very quickly how hard it is to find a glass shop that works on curved glass. After doing some research I found Shotwells in Blair. I called, and they were very friendly and professional. They told me to bring it in when I could. I arrived, and they were able to repair it quickly and at an incredibly reasonable price. The staff up front were very nice and helpful. The " glass man" is truly a master at his craft and repaired the door within 20 minutes. I cannot state enough how pleased and thankful I am for the work they did today. I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone that needs help with curved glass windows.

Mike and his team are really great to work with.  I had a crack in my windshield, was worried about driving around with it with my babies in the car. He fit me in the next day and had my car back in a couple hours.
He’s replaced a few photo frames and window screens for me the past, same great quality & turnaround times.
I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my glass and window repairs.

Walmart Supercenter

I needed ear warmers. They had plenty to choose from. Impressive self checkout area.

Sucks needs more plus size 3/4 shirts have big girls with large arms like myself. Also need more cash register open so customers can run the items or get more helpers lines are to damn long thank u Merry Christmas 🎄

Waited for 30 minutes for someone to help in jewellery department. Employee finally arrived but helped customers that had just gotten to the jewellery department and completely ignored me. Had to wait another 10 minutes for another employee to come ask if we needed help. We pushed the help button in the jewellery section at least 5 different times when we were waiting. Pretty annoying. Bad customer service.

It's about the same as it has been. I HATE that some stores are going to no bags. You have to take your own. Stupid decision. AND I wish they would get better women's clothes. They are just ugly.

Larry is the BEST door greeter ever!!  He is friendly to everyone.  He needs some kudos from Walmart.

Alexander was really great help at this location. He knows what he was talking about, and got me on everything I need to meet my goals.

Very helpful staff, always have what I'm looking for.

Martial's Kenpo Karate

My son been attending Martial Kenpo Karate for 6 years. This past year he has become not only a international but world champion in Karate with Mr. Martial as his instructor.  My son loves attending his martial arts school.

This place is great. They teach the children a lot every time. They learn respect. The teachers truly care.

Mr. Martial runs a great program.   My son loves it.

Lee Richardson Zoo

Lee Richardson Zoo is a beautiful zoo that’s free to walk through. On occasion they will offer free drive in as well. Animals are well kept and taken care of. One of our favorite places to visit

Vaca 2021 Had great time for FREE, we traveled from Nebraska. My 8yr old and 6yr old plus my folks in there 60+ yrs and myself 30 it was fun for all. I like all the different cranes. Wish could have seen red panda and maned wolf but they were not around today. Lots of great animals to see.
Nice gift shop a little pricey but goo selection and helpful.
The museum is great and it's gift shop is nice as well and better priced. Love quote when walk in.
My son say 4 stars because he didn't get to feed the animals.

Loved it but had to cut visit short due to rain and not having an umbrella handy. Plan on visiting again this weekend because it is worth the 2 hour drive from home

What a great little zoo. The city is lucky to have this. I would walk this every day as exercise. Get pretty close to everything. Have a little bit of everything too. Wasn’t too busy while we were there and was zero cost. Has a little snack shack, gift shop. The prices were not crazy either! I have been to a few big zoos. If I had to pick a zoo to have in my city it would be like this one.

This is a well kept zoo and have many options for people to enjoy it.  It's free to walk thru or 10 dollars a car to drive thru. They also offer bikes for 20 an hr. Also there are scooters you can rent in the area and use in the zoo.

Always convenient but need to get more cashiers up front and get rid of the self check outs and pay the cashiers more I'm sick and tired of doing what i normally do which is having multiples of one product and just scan one of the product to the amount i have!

If you go to this store with super high expectations you may be dissatisfied, however, when you think of it as a relatively small town walmart experience it's great. They have most necessities and household supplies. (More by far than hyvee for example) It's super nice to have this right down the road. I have been impressed by the cashiers as well. Of course if you are a grump they might not seem super friendly either, but a little kindness goes a long way. I have two small children and it is very rare to go through checkout without serval different employees offering to help me load things onto the checkout belt, get an extra cart, help me out, or help load my groceries. You don't find that at every Walmart. It definitely makes shopping with children a little less daunting to know that people understand and are willing to help! I have been somewhat disappointed with their fruit at times, however, there is usually at least some higher quality options. Better than having to take the kids into two stores, right? I use their pharmacy for everything as well. I am terrible at remembering refills and, embarrassing enough,there have been serval times I have just one pill left and I call in and they have gone out of their way to make sure I can get it by the next day.  As stated earlier, a little kindness and understanding goes a long way. These people are just doing their jobs. Most of them probably didn't dream of working at a Walmart and aren't getting paid what they should be. Many times there aren't enough employees to go around and many of them have to work extra hours to cover. Be a bright spot in their day!

Why have the bigger check out lanes if you won’t let anyone use them? My mother and I when to Walmart this morning and my mother had an over $400 order. She asked the lady over seeing self check out if she could open a bigger lane for her. (My mother and I like to use our own bags) The lady told her “no. We are not busy enough to open those lanes. You have to use this side”(which is the smaller self checkout side).  So I ask again. Why have the bigger self checkout lanes of you won’t let people use them?

For the most part the store is a decent place to get things you need with a couple of exceptions. A liquor purchase is an unpleasant experience. An associate has to escort you to the checkout counter like you’re a shoplifter. The pharmacy staff is unfriendly and will lie to you over the phone and when you get there to pick up your prescription they tell you something completely different.

Use this new location for our grocery pickup, and staff has been friendly and helpful. We will be returning for more items. Thanks

The cleanest showers we've been to all across the country ty,  but on the food side, country pride breakfast was good, but for dinner I had the fish and it was no flavor at all, the first batch came out raw the second batch came back not seasoned at all next time I'll stick to the steak

Plenty of parking spaces for truck drivers. It's a dirt lot so it's a little dusty with a pothole here and there. The ladies inside were super nice and really sweet. The pizza looked good but I went next door to the Cafe.  If neither one of these is not your thing, there's a Arby's,  McDonald's, and a subway within walking distance.Ladies restroom was clean and tidy.
No complaints.
Would definitely stop again.

Had to prepay, no credit card service at the pump.  One restroom, door wide open, no soap. Sink by coffee in had scalding hot water so no washing hands anywhere. Long lines for all of this terriblness

Prices weren’t as advertised and I paid too much. Tried to tell cashier and she refused to give me the change I was owed. It makes no sense to take an extra 50¢ when you already overcharged me. Always stopped while I passed by, never again I’ll drive a mile in and go to Casey’s

Store is NOT 24 hours. The pumps are.
No restrooms, still have to use porta potties outside, no light in them. This store has been in trouble since ownership changed. Not impressed. Back when the other owners had it and the Cornstalk Cafe (Restaurant) was open this place use to be solid place to stop at. Not anymore. So sad. And people wonder why "mega truck stops" are putting the good ole Mom and Pop Truck Stops Out of Business.
Don't waste your time stopping here at night especially. Not worth it!

I Love Shell Gas this station was not even close to being as nice as the one down the road. Someone had took a dump on the floor !

Nothing surprises me anymore but thats just plan nasty as hell.
